Terri Jo Roach, J.D., became an Alzheimer's educator and volunteer in Tallahassee, Florida, after serving as a caregiver for her husband, Dempsey Barron, who served in the Florida Senate for 32 years. She is currently a visiting professor at Florida State University in Aging Studies. Beside the Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, she serves as a member of the board of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, the LeRoy Collins Institute for Public Policy, and the FSU Foundation.
