The Byrd Institute Facilities

The Facilities Division supports building security and maintenance. The Byrd Institute's new building will host several custom research facilities, such as the Proteomics Core Facility and the Transgenic Alzheimer's Disease Mouse Core Facility. These facilities have special needs, such as advanced security measures and environmental regulation, which will be supported by this division. As well, routine considerations such as janitorial services, landscape efforts, and the maintenance of networking, electrical and building other infrastructure falls under the authority of this division.
